Hanna Llewellyn-Waters, leading junior, successfully prosecuted six defendants at Isleworth Crown Court. The defendants were charged with conspiracy to commit criminal damage.
The police operation leading to the identification and arrest of the defendants was the largest conspiracy to commit criminal damage on the rail networks over the South East of England.
At least 160 incidents were attributed to the defendants. The available damage costs figure stood at £267 000, although the total figure of loss was much higher.
