Shaun Wallace graduated from the Polytechnic of North London, a predecessor of the London Met, with a BA in Law in 1983.

Shaun has worked as a barrister since 1986 and has experience in a wide range of serious criminal cases. He is a senior criminal defence advocate for Great James Street Chambers and has worked on a number of high profile cases over his career relating to murder, manslaughter, fraud, money laundering, firearms and drug trafficking.

Shaun is best known as one of the ‘Chasers’ on ITV’s hit television game show The Chase. He is a game show veteran, having been the first black winner of Mastermind in 2004 and reaching the final of Are you an Egghead? in 2008.

He has presented programmes for BBC Radio 4 and is a regular contributor to BBC Radio 5 Live. Shaun devotes a large part of his time to social enterprise work, lecturing on aspects of law in schools, colleges and other institutions.”
