Dan Santos-Costa, instructed by Sean Richards of TV Edwards LLP, secured a unanimous acquittal following a five-day multi-handed trial at Southwark Crown Court.
His client was indicted at trial with one count of possession with intent to supply a Class A controlled drug, namely heroin. The defendant contended that the heroin found by the Police was for his personal use and that he had no intention to supply it. The case involved a significant volume of mobile phone evidence, as well as expert evidence.
