EXTRADITION, MUTUAL LEGAL ASSISTANCE AND INTERNATIONAL CRIMINAL LAW
Our barristers advise and represent individuals, foreign governments and judicial authorities in extradition proceedings at Westminster Magistrates’ Court, the High Court and the Supreme Court. They are available to provide immediate and urgent advice, including Rule 39 applications to the European Court of Human Rights. Our extradition team have deep and detailed experience of the practical operation of the European Arrest Warrant system.
Barristers with International Criminal Law expertise have provided advisory and advocacy services in trials of genocide, crimes against humanity and war crimes before international courts and tribunals including the International Court for the Former Yugoslavia, CTY, International Court for Rwanda, and the Special Court for Sierra Leone. We provide legal advice to individuals, NGOs and governments on international sanctions, asset freezing and confiscation.
