Headline Gender Pay Gap Metrics
- Mean Gender Pay Gap (Average Earnings): 13.56% in favour of women (women earn more on average than men)
- Median Gender Pay Gap: Gap: 1.56% in favour of women
Observations
- Female barristers at GJS out-earn male barristers on average, driven by high-performing individuals.
- However, there are fewer women overall (9 vs. 26), meaning the distribution may not be representative.
- The median earnings also favour female barristers slightly, indicating this isn’t skewed solely by top outliers.
