Nargees is regularly instructed to represent clients in the Crown Court. She is instructed to act in cases involving serious violence, rape, sexual offences, dishonesty offences, fraud and drug matters. She is a meticulous advocate with a passion for criminal law. She enjoys a diverse practice and vigorously and fearlessly fights for her clients. Her client care is extraordinary and her previous experience as a secondary school teacher allows her to express empathy and relatability to clients, particularly when representing youths and young adults.
Nargees was instructed as disclosure counsel on the Grenfell Inquiry. She has previously been contracted by the Bar Standards Board (BSB) as a papers scrutiniser for the Bar Professional Training Course (BPTC) examinations and as a panel member determining Authorised Training and Education Organisation (AETO) status.
