Helen Douglass-Dixon, privately instructed by Iqbal Ahmed of Ahmed & Co, represented a client charged with affray at High Wycombe Magistrates Court.
The court heard evidence that Helen’s client wielded an axe and threw concrete paving slabs on multiple occasions. Helen successfully argued that the Crown had not satisfied the legal test for an affray. The Judge agreed and the client was found not guilty.
