R v V: (CCC) South London youth gangland murder (led junior) (acquittal).

R v HS (Sheffield CC) shot gun shoot out in residential street in Sheffield.

R v S (Nottingham CC) Assisting Offender – drove partner away and booked into hotel after fatal stabbing (acquittal).

R v G (Isleworth Crown Court): Defendant driving car with multiple wraps of cocaine and heroin in central console. Mobile telephone evidence analysis facilitates acquittal.

R v K (Bradford Crown Court): Assisting offender -Torching the car from which fatal bullet fired. Crown rely on cell site and mobile phone evidence.

R v D (Leeds Crown Court): Police alleged Defendant offered cocaine and then threw package over fence during foot chase. Cocaine found where discarded in grip seal bag identical to those found in defendant’s flat. Acquitted.

R v A (Nottingham Crown Court): Victims tied up, threatened with acid and guns. Believed £150k in safe. Crown rely on mobile phone, cell site and ANPR evidence.

R v L (Wood Green CC): Defendant acquitted of GBH with intent and section 20 in the alternative; a knife attack on his ex-girlfriend. The deepest of the wounds narrowly missed her femoral artery. The complaint was made about 7 years after the event, but days after the Domestic Violence Disclosure Scheme (Clare’s Law) went nationwide.

R v TA: Represented the robber who attempted to steal from a West End bank in broad daylight. The incident closed down much of London’s Piccadilly for several hours and received considerable press attention.

R v S: (Norwich CC) Assisting Offender – dismembering (chain saw) and concealment of body (acquittal).

R v S & Others (Luton CC): A case concerning one of the largest ever importations of high purity heroin into Europe has concluded at Luton Crown Court. An international drug smuggling gang centred in Pakistan, crammed over 230 kilos of 80% pure heroin into an imported Jaguar which was seized by the NCA in December 2013. After a four-week trial, only defendant on trial to be acquitted by the jury (led junior).
