Brereton Horne, instructed by Chilean Law Solicitors, secured the acquittal of a man at Isleworth Crown Court.
The young medical student was charged, on indictment, with two counts of tendering and possessing counterfeit currency.
The jury returned a verdict of not guilty on each count.
