Vishal Misra, instructed by Thompson & Co Solicitors, secured the acquittal of his client, charged with one count of rape, following a 4 day trial at Inner London Crown Court.
Vishal highlighted to the jury that there was no independent evidence before the jury, only two conflicting accounts. He took the jury through the evidence again, submitting that it was a confusing patchwork of allegations without much in the way of detail.
The jury deliberated for less than two hours before returning unanimous Not Guilty verdicts.
