Great James Street Chambers is delighted to announce that Amanda Jones has been appointed to the Attorney General’s London Panel of Junior Counsel (Panel B).
Appointment to the Attorney General’s Panel is a significant professional achievement, recognising barristers who have demonstrated outstanding legal ability, advocacy and expertise in their respective fields.
The Attorney General’s Panel of Counsel provides specialist legal services to the UK Government. Panel Counsel are instructed by Government departments and public bodies to advise on complex legal issues, draft pleadings and represent the Government in courts and tribunals across a wide range of civil, public and administrative law matters. The work frequently involves cases of national importance, including judicial review, human rights, immigration, regulatory and other public law proceedings.
Amanda’s appointment to Panel B reflects her considerable experience, technical expertise and excellent advocacy. It is a testament to the confidence placed in her ability to represent Government departments in complex and high-profile litigation.
