Antony Hook represented Howard Sykes MBE at a Local Government Standards hearing

Antony Hook acted for Howard Sykes MBE, former Leader of Oldham Council, who has been formally cleared at a Local Government Standards hearing.

Antony devised the legal strategy and prepared the written submissions that led to the charge against Councillor Sykes MBE being dismissed in full.

Notably, two additional councillors also had their charges dismissed after adopting the legal argument Antony developed, a strong affirmation of the robustness and clarity of the case presented.
