Haseeb Yousaf represented a former employee of a care home, who had lost her job as a result of an allegation made by a co-worker.
The Appellant, of good character and someone who had been employed by the care home for 14 years, was alleged to have assaulted a resident of the care home.
Based on the fact that the Appellant appeared as a very credible witness, and absence of evidence that corroborated what the co-worker said, the Learned Judge and Magistrates said they could not be sure of guilt to the required standard. She was therefore found not guilty.
