Kate Riekstina, instructed by Alice Dyer of Paytons Solicitors LLP, represented and secured an acquittal for the first defendant of two charged with s18 GBH with intent.
The case involved an allegation of serious violence used against the complainant which, on his version of events, was completely unprovoked. The case further involved detailed cross examination of the OIC on the failures of investigation and following reasonable lines of enquiry.
After a 6 day trial at Inner London Crown Court, both defendants were found unanimously not guilty.
