Stefan Bisson, instructed by Raj Chopra of Chelian Law, has secured an acquittal for his client charged with harassment with violence, possession of offensive weapon, possession of a bladed article and a s.39 assault, following a 3 day trial at Chester Crown Court.
Stefan successfully cross examined the four prosecution witnesses resulting in a Not Guilty verdict after less than one hour of deliberation. Following the verdict, the client, who had been in custody for 8 months, was released. Stefan further successfully resisted a s.5A application for a restraining order upon acquittal.
