Stefan Bisson instructed by HSR Solicitors, secured the acquittal of his client after a lengthy trial at Stratford Magistrates Court.
The Defendant was charged jointly with another, of assault by beating. The resident district Judge accepted the closing submissions made on behalf of the client, that she could not be sure if he did in fact take part in the conduct alleged, despite the complainant confirming that he witnessed the defendant punching and kicking him over 10 times. Stefan’s client was found Not Guilty.
The co-defendant was found guilty of the same assault and falls to be sentenced on a date to be fixed.
