Amanda Jones, instructed by Bark & Co Solicitors, is successful in an appeal against deportation.
The Appellant, a Polish citizen, was sentenced to 16 years’ imprisonment for conspiracy to supply Class A drugs and related offences. The Judge found, contrary to the Home Office’s deportation decision, that the Appellant was a permanent resident of the UK, and that the Home Office had failed to demonstrate that there was evidence he presented a serious risk to public policy or security under the EEA Regulations.
