Earlier this week, the Centre For Women’s Justice announced that not only have they formulated a new offence of Non-Fatal Strangulation, but their campaign to have it be stand alone criminal offence was successful. This success will significantly advance domestic violence legislation and provide greater protection to all women.
Our pupil, Nasreen Shah is delighted to have been able to contribute to CWJ’s campaign, providing a key case study on Non-Fatal Strangulation and insight whilst working for London Black Women’s Project.
